There may be times when you will have established care with us and yet need or want to transfer your care elsewhere. In the event this happens we want to be upfront about how we handle refunds.

When a client reaches 36 weeks gestation there will be no refunds, whether the client risks out of homebirth, transfers care elsewhere, determines not to have have a homebirth any longer, or for any other reason.

Prior to 36 weeks gestation we use the following guideline:

35 weeks gestation will receive a 5% refund of the total birth price if paid in full and every week prior to this will receive an additional 5% refund up to 20 weeks gestation (80% refund). If care is terminated prior to 20 weeks refunds will be determined based on the line item work that the midwife and/or birth team has provided.

Please keep in mind that refunds are based on the birth fees and other financial obligations have been paid in full.
